Exclusive child safe breakaway system
There’s no other system within the UK market quite like the Evaglide Roman Blind. Historically (and to this day with some suppliers), Roman breakaway devices have had trouble with the ability to dispatch from headrails leaving clients frustrated or unable to reassemble the blind system (which can result in call outs from customers). Many systems are fragile also failing to hold regulatory load weights of 6kg – or worse, unable to recognise and detach on weights over 6kg which could be potentially lethal!
Rest assured, the Evaglide Roman Blind system is safe by design with our exclusive breakaway technology. The breakaway technology uses a cog and chain to detach from the headrail when too much pressure (6 kg) is applied. The simplicity of the system has proved extremely popular over the years as clients can simply reattach the cog system back into the headrail with no problems or confusion.
