Evans Textiles were contacted by Craig Smith of Material Concepts, one of our Southern Area Track Distributors, with a rather unusual request for a 5 metre curved motorised curtain track that had to run six individual Easyflow curtains each with a 5.2mtr drop.
Craig had tried ringing around to find a supplier who would take on the task without success. Evans, who pride themselves on ‘never saying never’, studied the requirements and after a site visit with Craig we were confident the Shuttle track would suit his needs.
First of all Craig supplied a template for us to curve his track to, which we accomplished without too much trouble. We then had the task of coming up with a solution to his clients request of having the six curtains running and stacking at the same time, not as easy as it sounds on paper.
Although this wasn’t a straight forward task, Evans achieved the look that Craig’s client was after (see above).
Evans ‘Shuttle’ motorised track is an electrically operated system which incorporates a touch control system, silent running, and comes with a ten year warrantee and is compatible with most Home Automation Systems currently in the market place.
